Overview
Clear Channel NY created the name and concept of “One Thing That’s Green” for JetBlue Airways. The assignment was to create a “Green Culture” and event for JetBlue Airways that can promote volunteerism & sustainability which will reach existing and new customers, while generating awareness and buzz in efforts of ultimately increasing sales.
On April 19th, 2008, approximately 400 people did their “One Thing That’s Green” by planting trees and beautifying East Harlem including JetBlue, Clear Channel, NY Restoration Project and the general public. From Breakfast to 106.7’s Christine Nagy, to Warm-Up’s, to tree plantings to the closing celebration including Power 105’s Ed Lover, the Volunteerism and awareness of “One Thing That’s Green” was a huge success. The jetBlue Brand and Green Culture was front and center for everyone to see!!
