Radio Stations 77 WABC and 95.5 WPLJ are located in Midtown Manhattan and have been broadcast leaders in their respective formats for decades. They are owned and operated by Citadel Communications, the largest pure play radio broadcast company in the United States.

The position of Team Leader – Digital Operations reports to the Director of Digital Media. The ideal candidate is an energetic and proactive self-starter who is passionate about the possibilities new technologies offer to radio broadcasters. We’re seeking the person who’s always asking “what’s next?”, is highly-creative, has top-notch technical skills and can inspire and lead our digital producers. On a daily basis, the Team Leader – Digital Operations will ensure all campaigns are running as ordered by clients, manage the workflow of the digital producers, work with and maintain dialogue with the programming / promotions / sales to create and provide new content for station websites, advise and train staff on web software, troubleshoot web issues, increase website traffic through social networking and weekly / monthly reporting on site metrics for sales team use.

·        Advanced HTML, Flash, CMS back end

·        DFA, 24/7 OAS, AdJuggler or other ad management systems

·        Aptitude in design programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash

·        Basic video editing and production skills – Adobe Premiere, Final Cut

·        Content development skills including graphic creation, contesting, newsletter creation, podcast hosting

·        Social Media – Twitter, Facebook updates

·        Understanding of metrics reporting, basic web terminology

·        2 to 3 years experience in digital production and online marketing

·        Excellent technical skills and knowledge of web development technologies

·        Excellent leadership and communication skills

·        Highly organized

·        Ability to work quickly and effectively

·        Great people skills and desire to work in a team-oriented environment

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design / Web Design preferred
