Promotions Coordinator – 101.9 WRXP FM

101.9 WRXP The New York Rock Experience seeks dynamic individual for full time promotions coordinator position for the newest Rock station in the tri-state area! The ideal candidate should be well organized, able to multitask, outgoing, creative, hard working, responsible, a team player, and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.

The Promotions Coordinator will work closely with various departments - including sales, programming and marketing - to successfully execute all station promotions and events.

Job Responsibilities:

• Write promotional and contest copy.
• Schedule and produce weekly contests, keep prize closet/inventory organized.
• Research, schedule and staff all 101.9 RXP events
• Coordinate and execute all promotional events.
• Manage station vehicles and all promotional resources.
• Work well with others within the department.

Job Requirements:

• Strong time management skills and the ability to multi task
• Available to work weekends, some evenings, some holidays
• Excellent public relations skills
• Computer proficient, especially in Word & Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Management, past experience in radio promotions or marketing or related working experience
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
